Faugheen50 Race 2022 Preparations

The Faugheen 50 Supporters Club welcome you all back to our corner of Co. Tipperary. It has been a long wait due to Covid, but with the country returning back to normality, preparations are underway for Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July. With Cookstown100, Tandragee100, and the North West 200 complete, Road racing now turns to the southern circuits for the next 2 months.

Following Kells, Skerries 100, and Walderstown, Faugheen will host another round of our fantastic sport and bring the excitement of road racing to the byways of a small rural village in Co. Tipperary. Saturday will begin with practice for newcomers followed by free practice for all riders. Then there will be 9 rounds of qualifying.
Sunday morning, race day, will be a full-on speed rush.

Lining the hedgerows, the public witness the adrenaline rush of seeing these masters of motorcycling tame the tarmac between hedges, fences and houses on what are, on any other day, small country roads. Walk through the paddock, see the riders, the preparations, hear the sounds, taste the atmosphere the can only be experienced at a road race.

Camping and motorhomes will be fielded between the main racers paddock and the local village. Public car parks will be situated on the main access roads towards the circuit. Road closure notices approved for 8am to the public on both days and passes/tickets will be required to enter the circuit.

We look forward to seeing you all there.
