The Faugheen 50 road races has become THE premier motorsport event in the South East.

With hundreds of competitors and their crews from all over Ireland and abroad and over 5,000 spectators attending the racing, it’s a weekend absolutely not to be missed.

The Faugheen 50 club have grown the event over the years to make it as safe, exciting, spectator and family friendly as possible. We enjoy huge media coverage from TV, radio, social media and traditional media outlets.

Running a National championship road race is extremely expensive, this year we expect the costs to be approaching €100,000. Our sources of income are the entry fee for spectators, our competitor’s entry fees and our race sponsors.

Sponsoring a successful local event gives company’s the opportunity to showcase their products and services to a wide audience. In addition it has been shown that sponsoring events increases company loyalty, promotes brand awareness and induces people to ‘support the people who support the sport’  

Sponsors get the page opposite their chosen race in the official programme to place adds for their products and services. We already have many loyal sponsors on board who have been with us through the years but as costs are increasing so much mainly due to insurance hikes, we need to invite new people on board.

There is much more to be had from sponsoring a race than just the name in the programme.

We offer exclusive VIP passes, exclusive viewing areas, paddock access and refreshments in the Faugheen 50 hospitality area. Sponsors receive extra passes to bring along invited guests and clients for an unforgettable days entertainment.
